Performers
Band Auditions
WAYJO offers training in big band jazz and improvised modern music across three big bands to musicians aged 14 to 25 years.
PLEASE NOTE: Band members do not hold paid positions, however some paid opportunities are available for band members with professional level ensembles through private, community and corporate events.

Conductors
Assistant Musical Director
Experienced, music reading musicians aged 18 to 35 years are invited on an annual basis to apply for this paid 12-month trainee position.
Composers
Through its Composer-in-Residence program, WAYJO supports emerging composers under 30 years of age to develop new works by offering commissions, artistic mentorship, plus professionally recorded audio and video content for their portfolio.
The Composer-in-Residence program is not currently open.
