Jazz for Juniors

The Act-Belong-Commit Education Program, supported by Healthway, returns bigger and better than ever for 2017.

This year, WAYJO premieres its new Jazz for Juniors program at His Majesty’s Theatre, a series of school holiday performances aimed at 4-7 year olds that will get them jumping around and experiencing the fun sounds of jazz instruments close up.

WAYJO’s new Jazz for Juniors concerts provide the perfect school holiday entertainment for inquisitive young musicians.

On the first Tuesday of the April school holidays, plus Tuesday & Friday of the July and September school holidays, a special program of music performed by a small WAYJO ensemble will introduce children to jazz instruments and fun tunes designed to get them moving.

Integrating music with stories and interaction, children will have the chance to meet the musicians and try out some instruments of their own.

WAYJO’s Jazz for Juniors concerts are a fantastic and fun way to introduce kids to the world of jazz.
