New Board Appointments
We are pleased to welcome several new appointments to the Board in 2026, alongside a new leadership team.
Existing Board member Annaliese Eames has been appointed Chair, bringing extensive experience in legal practice, governance and stakeholder engagement, alongside a longstanding connection to music and community arts leadership. Joining her as Vice-Chair is Julianne (Jules) Allan, Director of Corporate Services at Hollywood Private Hospital, who brings significant expertise in HR, operational management and governance.
We’re also delighted to welcome new Board member Lisa Dorizzi-Warnes, whose background spans compliance, operations and governance across the oil and gas sector, as well as new Band Member Representative Stirling Poh, a composer and trumpet player currently studying at UWA who brings a valuable emerging-artist perspective.
We extend our sincere thanks to outgoing Chair Simon Durack, Vice-Chair Jon Bennett and Treasurer Steele Bromley for their significant contributions over recent years. We also thank outgoing Board members Craig Boyle, Cathryn Adams and Tracy Amson for their dedication, support and service to the organisation.
WAYJO’s Board continues to bring together a diverse range of experience across the arts, governance, business, education and community leadership, supporting the organisation’s ongoing growth and commitment to young musicians in WA.
