Our Catalyst Jazz Orchestra, Dynamic Jazz Orchestra and Resonance Jazz Orchestra will come together for the first time this year, giving audiences an early taste of the music, energy and talent shaping the season ahead. This is also your chance to hear our new orchestra members performing their first shows of the year and to find out what’s in store for 2026.

During the afternoon, we’ll also announce the recipients of the Roger Garrood Award for Dedicated Service and the WAYJO Hall of Fame Award, recognising outstanding contributions to WAYJO and the broader jazz community.

This family-friendly, free event is all about celebrating community, connection and live music. Juice Station will also be onsite if you’d like to purchase refreshments.
