See a Show

WAYJO perform at some Perth’s best venues, including His Majesty’s Theatre, The Astor Theatre, the Quarry Amphitheatre and more! Grab some friends, and enjoy some live jazz performed some of Western Australia’s finest young performers. A number of our previous young professionals have now made international names in jazz and contemporary music scenes – so you can say you saw them first at WAYJO!

Audition for WAYJO

WAYJO gives young jazz musicians the training to play at a professional standard and the confidence to venture out and create their own bands and, hopefully, earn a living from being a musician.

If you dream of being a jazz musician, playing alongside Australia’s top young jazz musicians, meeting national jazz stars and playing in a big band jazz orchestra at events and venues across Perth – we want to see you at auditions!

Join the WAYJO 240 Club

You can choose to make a monthly contribution of $20 or donate $240 up front. Members of our 240 Club will receive exclusive invitations to rehearsals, unique recordings of WAYJO music, the opportunity to meet our guest artists and band members at WAYJO events, and more!

Donate to WAYJO

At WAYJO we believe in developing the potential of young musicians through music. Our program offers performances with world-class guest artists, workshops and master classes, as well as touring and recording opportunities. Your gift is important and it ensures that our program remains sustainable and innovative and enables us to showcase some of the best young talent in Australia.

All donations are very welcome and will go directly towards scores, instruments, workshops, touring, visiting artist programs or recording.

Become a partner of WAYJO

To continue to provide world-class opportunities to our players, we need forward-thinking organisations to invest in WAYJO’s future. Such investments allow us to engage inspirational guest artists, to purchase instruments, tour nationally and internationally, and expand our composer-in-residence programs.

If you are interested in becoming a supporting partner and contributing to the successes and achievements of WAYJO we would love to hear from you.
