WAYJO Club

WAYJO Club is an exciting opportunity for aspiring instrumentalists and vocalists, aged 12-18 years, to learn about and participate in jazz music making with WAYJO in a social and inclusive setting. After a successful introduction last year WAYJO Club is back, and the good news is 2021 participants can sign up again. With some new content, new bands to sit it on and new tutors for Jazz Camps there is plenty still to learn!

Delivered as a combination of both online and in-person sessions (pandemic advisories permitting), WAYJO Club offers access to networks, resources, content, open rehearsals and jazz day-camps.

Try your hand at playing big band music, section work, improvisation, plus meet and network with other young jazz musicians, while learning from some of the best jazz educators WA has to offer!

NO AUDITION is required to take part, WAYJO Club is open to all young musicians with a basic understanding of music.

Please Note: To attend Jazz Camps and Open Rehearsals, we will require a copy of your COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate (or valid vaccination exemption) if you are turning 16 or over during 2022. This can be submitted via email to admin@wayjo.com and will be stored securely. If you wish to participate online only, vaccination is not required.

The year is divided into 2 semesters – so you can choose to participate for a single semester, or book the full year in advance to enjoy a discount;
– Full Year: $250 (plus booking fee)
– Single Semester: $150 (plus booking fee)
